Raising the stakes – 2020 & 2021
Even though we have a lot of open acreage, we wanted to keep our gardening close to the house and easy to maintain.
The solution was raised garden beds. We put in one in winter/early spring of 2020 and gave it a companion during the same season a year later.
We also added a third bed just for herbs, recycling some leftover wood and some of the many pieces of decorative stone that was scattered about from the previous owners.
